Got next week off and will be getting my gear out and I hope to go fishing as well! Anyone fancy taking a sicky and giving either Chesil or Hurst (for the Bream) a crack one evening?

Im afraid that evenings this week are a complete non - starter :( boss has "hurt his back" :roll: all days off have been cancelled :cry:

as far as the weekend is concerened tho - I may not be fishing at all this weekend (depending on certain circumstances) - if I do fish is likely to be swanage pier

Bob is there any work going at the company you work for ..because you MUST be getting paid twice as much for driving as I do ... otherwise you'd surely tell you boss were to stick his van.

heh im on £5.70 ph and getting a forklift licence soon i got pay rise to 5.70 from 5 and the promise of license when I handed in my notice couple of months ago.

I enjoy what I do, and I get on well with who I work with. I was made redundant by this company about 4 years ago (before I could drive) so I came back as a driver knowing exactly what to expect. oh and weekens is only sat 05:30 - 12:00

I will move on eventually because I don't want to be doing 65 hour weeks the rest of my life - but for the moment I am happy.

from january to april I was doing this job AND 16 hours (sat 16:00-22:00 - sun 08:00-16:00) as a supervisor for alldays - jacked the weekend job in cos they weren't payin an I wanted more time for fishing :P
