Anybody fished the cogden end of chesil recently?

AS saturday wifes away fluffies working(great) and the forecast looks great for a bit of plaice fishing at the above.

Are the spiders around in great numbers?

The spiders seem to be on the decline, the plaice fishing is good just off the shore from a boat. Mind you I bet you can easily cast to the same place we fished.

As mentioned previously, the locals reckon a tide of 3.6m seems to be optimum for them to feed, I dont know which part of the tide is best however as I get conflicting tales. In any case most people fish when they can dont they?
