Unwelcome Guests?

Is it me or have the number of "Guest" visitors to this Site increased recently?

On some days it appears that the Guests are outnumbering the registered Members hitting this site.

As they cannot post or read some reports how can we entice them to register?

I don`t have a problem with these visitors....it`s their problem if they cannot recognise the Best Site around:notworthy

I have registered the site with a lot of search engines, on checking the IP addresses, a lot of the 'guests' are spiders - hopefully adding the site to the search engines.

A lot are bone-fide guests too :cry: I just wish they'd register :smilie10:.

To get an idea of what guests see, log off, clear your cache and cookies, and go back to the site............. you will see I have added a bit of speel to TRY and entice them to register..... if they don't, they must be :loon: :razz:

Ive put a link on the Army Sea Angling site, so hopefully a few of them might join. Most come from this area and are always looking for catch reports. :cheesy:

dont understand the tecky stuff ,,, but i think people have got to be let in to some of the interesting stuff on the site to get hooked,,,,,, a year or so ago on the old site i went in for a month ,, before i joined ,,,,partly to sus the site & partly because i was new to the net & ide never done banter like this before,,,,,

:doh: hi ,,jimbo ,, just a quicky ive just been in to ultimate rigs , to try a few ,,but even loged on ,,it seems that you have to start again to register,,ect ,,,,,if your reg on site cant you just order ,,then bing bang bong ,post arrives,,,, or am i just doin it all wrong .........cheers lucky....ohh ive just sust out ive dun it wrong again ,,,,,,ohh well i am a kanik not a putur buff,,,

Ultimate rigs is a seperate site with a seperate database - the shopping cart requires this unfortunately, so if you want to order, you must register on that site.

You do not show as registered there (no new users registered since 16th May on Ultimate Rigs - unless you have an old account :dunno:) so will need to create an account - here you only need an email address to register, for the shop you have to enter full address details etc (for delivery / credit card authorisation etc.)

Let me know if you have any probs, it works ok - I just did a test order on my dummy account.
