Hello all. I while ago a guy on the beach talked about how he stored his rigs on a pipe foam or swimming float. How is this done do you cut it longwise ?
Does anybody on here use this method and if you do can you post a photo of them as it may be easier to see them than describe. :dunno:
Thanks a lot jack ! :notworthy

I use this method now. I just cut off a foot or so of insulatinf foam pipe. Then each rig I wind round. leaving a gapbetween rigs. each rig covers a couple of centimetres of foam. Will post a photo

Thanks for the feedback Ben & Rich' :notworthy

Looks like a good idea I'll pop into my nearest plumbing store and see what they've got !

I currently use Ziplok plastic bags - they are larger than standard rig wallets, you can see what's inside, and you can write on the bag what is inside. Downside is that the rigs can be prone to tangling.

Ahhh, the swimming float, great minds think alike then !!

About £2 at Asda for a 2 metre length, cheap rig storage and you cut them to a size that suits you, I store my commonly used rigs on my modified swimming floats in a 'lock and lock' sealed sandwich box (guaranteed water tight) far cheaper, and imo better than the shop bought winders.

Tightlines all, Cluee.
