Hello everyone. I'm planning on heading to Weymouth stone pier on friday for a spot of float fishing during the day. I'm new to this type of fishing, only ever tried it once or twice as a child. The wind is gunna be 18mph SW on sat and I'm pretty sure the stone pier will be bearable and kind of sheltered but there is bound to be a bit of a breeze on the water, my question is. Can I still float fish when it's breezy? might sound a silly question but not sure if the float will just get dragged about really easily by the wind, really fancy trying out this method over the weekend as my summer leave is rapidly running out so must squeeze the sessions in where I can, lol! Any extra advice on this venue/method would be very much appreciated, thanks guys, Stotty!
