If my memory serves me correctly its a very stiff rod , more suited to rough ground fishing , not a very novice friendly tool
What sort of budget do you have , how much do you want to spend ? and what type of fishing do you want to use it for ?
May be able to give you some better options and save you a few pounds

Found it on another forum 2nd hand for £80 that's why I asked the question. Well at the mo fish locally Christchurch Barton southbourne all sandy, occassionaly Fish blue anchor minehead and going to Cornwall in summer, that's about it really. May try for mackrel at chessil beach too.

Have a chat with Tom in Christchurch angling centre ,the Anyfish Anywhere range of rods represent amazing value for money , you will find an excellent rod in the club man range that will be suited to your fishing and one you would be able to bend and cast without breaking the bank
ps....... I got the reel last night for you from Ally, Callum will have it in the tackle shop on Monday

Half the match was pegged on Browndown and half on Lee-on-solent , Browndown out fished Lee by a country mile
Sadly we were on Lee
